The Margherì sofa by Flexform is an innovative addition to the brand’s outdoor collection, designed by Monica Armani to reinterpret the timeless elegance and convivial spirit of the Belle Époque through a contemporary lens. The concept revolves around the idea of the refined “dolce far niente,” translated into a series of rigorous yet welcoming lines inspired by organic and floral forms. The collection’s most distinctive visual feature is its curved steel structure, which shapes the armrests and backrests, creating a silhouette of soft petals upholstered in a delicate woven cord. This detail evokes the charm of traditional craftsmanship, reinterpreted with a modern sensibility. The collection is exceptionally versatile and lends itself to a wide range of linear and modular configurations, adapting to individual tastes and requirements.

Born in 1959 in the heart of Brianza district of furnishings, Flexform is a company that exported the style and the Italian taste of comfort all over the world. Originally founded by the Galimberti brothers as a small artisan workshop for the production of beds, sofas and armchairs, since the beginning the company has expressed the purpose to achieve timeless elegance, averse to the passing fad and inspired by a concept of absolute comfort.
Evolving over time in a true industry, Flexform has initiated many important collaborations with renowned designers and architects such as Joe Colombo, Asnago and Vender and Cini Boeri.Read more

Monica Armani
Designer, architect and interior designer, Monica Armani (1964-) breathes the atmosphere of great architecture right from the cradle. She is in fact the daughter of Marcello Armani from Trentino, a prominent name in Italian Rationalism, and it was in her father's studio that she took the first steps of her career. Instead, her first important project takes place in Milan, once again in collaboration with a "sacred monster" of architecture: in fact, she collaborates with the French Jean Nouvel for the renovation of the Excelsior cinema. She then also began to deal with design, where her clean and contemporary style led her to obtain numerous awards such as the Elle Decor International Design Award 20'22 for the "Furniture" category. Among his most fruitful collaborations is the one with the Belgian company Tribù, which he accompanies with its products in international growth until it becomes one of the main international players in the outdoor furniture sector, alongside those with important brands such as B&B Italia, Boffi, Turri, Varaschin, Luceplan, Gallotti&Radice, Moroso and many others.
