Giorgetti
Giorgetti's story is indissolubly tied to the historical and economic evolution of Meda, a thriving town of Brianza’s district in the north of Milan, where in 1898 Luigi Giorgetti founded his workshop for the production of classic-style furniture. Giorgetti started to produce semi-finished carved products for lounges, living area chairs and tables for many prestigious families in Milan characterized by a well-refined and demanding taste. The company’s production was able to compete with the French market for quality manufacturing and wood variety.Read more

Chi Wing Lo
Chi Wing Lo (1954-) is one of the most successful Chinese designers in the West. Born in Hong Kong, he developed most of his career abroad, starting with his studies in architecture in the USA at Harvard University. However, it is in the Mediterranean places that he has found his greatest successes: both in Greece, where he chose to live and where he founded an architecture studio with his wife Panagiota Davladi, and in Italy where he made his furnishings for a long time with the brand Giorgetti, for which he also took care of the artistic direction from 2004 to 2006. Introduced to the company by his mentor Massimo Scolari, Chi Wing Lo found in Giorgetti the perfect partner for his ascetic and timeless creations, capable of merging suggestions of the oriental tradition with an almost metaphysical charm. At the end of the collaboration with Giorgetti he then created his own brand, Dimensione Chi Wing Lo, with which he was able to give full development to his peculiar aesthetic vision made up of luxurious environments immersed in a sweet Zen balance. In addition to design and architecture (a discipline in which he achieved the greatest recognition thanks to his tower-house in Athens, completed in 2008, and an unrealized project for the New Acropolis Museum which surprisingly placed fourth in the public competition held in 1990), Chi Wing Lo's other great passion is sculpture, developed into suggestive wooden creations exhibited in various exhibitions around the world.
