Trio Bookshelf
Price € 488.00
From the artistic vision of Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni comes Trio, a clean-cut corner bookcase that blends a taste for design with a more modern approach to furnishing. This corner bookcase rests on three legs that compose its structure, to which three triangular shelves are attached. Its compact form makes it a perfect compromise between a bookcase and a side table, complete with shelves for storing small objects, books, or other tiny knick-knacks. Ideal for the living area, Trio also lends itself perfectly to a variety of uses in kitchens and bedrooms, making it an excellent substitute for bedside tables and storage.

Designed by
Achille Castiglioni
Achille Castiglioni (1918-2002) was one of the most important and famous masters of Italian design of the twentieth century. With a playful and curious temperament, he has also brought these characteristics into his creations, always full of brilliant intuitions resulting from a strong ability to observe the behavior of people and their relationship with objects. Son of the sculptor Giannino Castiglioni, he works for the entire first part of his career alongside his brother Pier Giacomo (1913-1968), with whom he co-signs all his creations until the latter's death in 1968. Among his associations more fortunate are those with Flos, a company with which he collaborates since the foundation and with which he revolutionizes the concept of domestic lighting. He works also with Zanotta, who supportes him in his most daring experiments, with De Padova, with whom he carries out many projects in recent years of his life, and with Alessi. He has won the Compasso d'Oro eight times.Read more
