The Air bookshelves by Lago skilfully plays with the transparency of glass to achieve an ethereal intangible effect that makes it look like a set of shelves floating in the air. The glass backs also let the light through, thus creating an airy and bright environment. The shelves have strong thicknesses that emphasize their expressiveness and can be positioned both in an aligned grid and in staggered compositions. They are also available in different finishes that can be placed side by side in the same bookcase with a pleasant contrasting effect. Air is a bookcase with a finish on both sides, which makes it a very versatile tool in the hands of the designer: it can in fact take the form of a double-sided bookcase to be positioned in the center of the room as a separé between different environments.
