Lema
Lema has marked several key stages in the industrial history of Italian design. David Lopez Quincoces
David Lopez Quincoces (1980-) is an appreciated Spanish designer active in Milan, the city where he has lived since 2005. In that year he obtained a master's degree in Interior Design at the IED and began a long and fruitful collaboration with the studio by Piero Lissoni, of whom he will later become a partner for the Lissoni Architecture division. In addition to the numerous projects he has followed for the Lissoni studio, since 2008 he has started his own business through the Quincoces-Dragò & Partners studio, active in both product design and interior design with refined projects such as the Trussardi Cafè in Piazza della Scala in Milan or the restyling of the renowned Spotti furniture showroom. His style can be considered an evolution of Lissonian minimalism, with creations with simple and rigorous lines but embellished with elegant fine finishes. His furnishings are among the great protagonists of the Living Divani catalogue, one of the first brands to decisively focus on him, but he has also worked with brands such as Lema, De Padova, MDF Italia, Gervasoni, Gandia Blasco, Salvatori and Oluce. Since 2020 he has also been responsible for the creative direction of the Acerbis brand in partnership with his colleague Francesco Meda. Read more
