Simplicity and harmony meet in the design of this incredible table lamp. Le Phasme draws its shapes from another famous protagonist of the world of insects: the stick insect. Thin and long-limbed by definition, the stick insect camouflages itself in trees by remaining immobile and improvising the part of a dry branch that is still far from breaking off. In the same way, Phasme seems to re-propose this dynamic, becoming an object to be placed on a surface and left there indefinitely until its forms are completely integrated with the surrounding environment. Wood, metal and glass come together here to create an extremely elegant whole.

The story of Rispal began in 1924, the year of its foundation by an entrepreneur who established its headquarters near the capital until 1982, when the business ceased. Following the closure, the old company structures were razed to the ground to make room for a real real estate renovation in which every document regarding Rispal production and design was destroyed or lost. Before that date, Rispal had distinguished itself in the creation of avant-garde luminous furnishings, capable of taking up the most classic tradition of design and transforming it into something new and unexpected. The "Formes Nouvelle" collection is inspired by the Scandinavian tradition as well as by the taste of the artist Jean Arp.Read more
