The William sofa is one of the leading products of Zanotta's upholstered collection. Designed by the English Damian Williamson and available both in monobloc compositions and in more articulated corner versions or with chaise longue, William is a light sofa suitable for fresh and young environments, albeit not devoid of an elegant touch. Slightly raised from the ground by thin metal feet, it is immediately recognizable by the characteristic “layered” padding of the seat and by the small side armrests. Originally introduced in 2010 and constantly evolving over the years, it is now also available with the integration of comfortable support shelves.

Damian Williamson
Damian Williamson (1974-2024), English designer, was born in London and completed his studies there, finishing with a degree at Kingston University in London. However, it is in Sweden that he opened his own studio, the Damian Williamson Office For Design, based in Stockholm and born in 2004 after a few years of apprenticeship carried out in other studios in the Swedish capital. In his line you can find the cleanliness and functionality typical of British design, with an accuracy of shapes and proportions always carefully studied. His best-known projects belong to the world of upholstered furniture and among them those created with the Italian brand Zanotta stand out, for which he has created several bestsellers. He has also worked with Scandinavian manufacturers such as Erik Jørgensen (today integrated into the Fredericia collections) and Asplund.
