A monumental crown of circular light, the Estadio lamp by Santa & Cole always leaves the viewer speechless. It is perfect for public spaces such as hotel lobbies or prestigious luxury boutiques, but it can also be used for high-standing domestic environments in order to obtain a particularly impactful scenographic effect. Designed by Miguel Milá for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games, it is proposed as a modern version of the enormous metal chandeliers full of candles that illuminated the rooms of medieval castles: the designer has in fact decided to keep the tubular frame exposed steel, framing a thick ribbed glass ring that houses the light sources.
