Peter Marino (1949-) is known as the “luxury architect” par excellence thanks to his numerous collaborations for the creation of the showrooms of important fashion brands. Also famous for the unmistakable motorcyclist look he shows off on every public occasion, behind the extravagant appearance hides a cultured and refined taste, capable of intelligently interpreting the identity of the brands he works with and disseminating his projects with measured quotes. of architectural styles of the past, from the Renaissance to the Viennese Secession, always integrating them harmoniously into the context. It was launched in the world of architecture by Andy Warhol, who in the 1970s entrusted him with the project for the third incarnation of his Factory. This assignment opens the doors for him to the private commissions of wealthy art lovers, from Gianni Agnelli to Yves Saint-Laurent. The first assignments in the field of fashion retail are assigned to him by the historic New York department store Barneys, which will then be followed over the years by the boutiques of an impressive number of fashion brands: Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Dior, Fendi and many others. In the field of product design intended for mass production, he boasts rare collaborations with brands such as Venini, Poltrona Frau and Olivari.
