Bologna Penthouse

Francesco Meneghello signs the project for this suggestive penthouse in Bologna, located in a recently built context with low environmental impact and structured as a poetic buen retiro around the passions of the owners. Among high-end design elements and aesthetic choices of great value, the key element of light stands out, used to define spaces and give life to authentic visual suggestions.

Salvioni Design Solutions collaborated with the Francesco Meneghello studio in the choice of furnishing elements, intertwining the tastes and styles of the best brands to create an organic whole of colors and surfaces.

Living Area

Large and spacious, the living area is an ideal hub of comfort and relaxation dominated by the large Baxter Made in Italy sofa and Nepal armchair resting on the bare geometries of an Amini rug. The originality of the Saba Italia chairs, with fabric designed by Antonio Marras, and the Desalto table complement the living space and invite towards the conviviality of the custom-made kitchen, a cornerstone of everyday life and living together.

Divided by the elegant lightness of a sliding glass door, these rooms mirror each other to convey into the corridor overlooking the bedrooms. A single distorting mirror marks the transition from the living area to the night one, dominated by more intimate and discreet atmospheres.

Extremely soft tones and shades meet Vitra chairs, Flou beds and Poliform wardrobes united in the subtle bond of an extremely suggestive lighting sector offered by Davide Groppi, Artemide and Fontana Arte. In this context it is easy to appreciate the attention to every detail superbly designed to reconcile taste and aesthetic refinement.

Night Area

A final suggestion is offered by the terrace full of multiform plants and Mediterranean scents which, like a small domestic hortus conclusus, invites to enjoy the illusion of an oasis of peace far from the city. Sofas and coffee tables by Royal Botania create a glimpse of extreme value.

Among watercolors by S Rosenthal and glimpses halfway between architecture and art, this project by Francesco Meneghello expresses the taste of furniture that is attentive to details and designed to create a positive synergy between inside, outside, and everyday life.
