Chalet Borshberg
The interior design project of Chalet Borshberg stems from the successful collaboration between Salvioni Design Solutions and Pearlman Design. This architecture and interior design studio specializes in the creation of luxury design projects for high-end private residences, focusing its work on transforming and breathing new life into properties located in alpine and mountainous settings.
Chalet Borshberg perfectly embodies their style, demonstrating how a typically rustic structure made of wood, stone, and little else can be transformed into a modern and welcoming home. Here, respect for the building’s original character intertwines with a refined sense of taste, harmonizing contemporary trends with timeless aesthetic references.
The result is outstanding, enhanced by creative and forward-thinking furnishing solutions that establish a dialogue between the different spaces while also telling a story of their own.
The selection of furnishings for Chalet Borshberg was made in collaboration with Salvioni Design Solutions, which provided not only its extensive catalog but also its expertise to best enhance the solutions proposed by Pearlman Design. The selection includes some of the most renowned brands in the industry, such as Vitra, Paola Lenti, and Baxter—a trio that enriched the kitchen, living room, study, and wellness area.
For each brand, colors and finishes were carefully chosen to reflect the surrounding environment and local tones, creating a continuous dialogue with the mountains, vegetation, and the interior atmosphere of the chalet, which, in keeping with tradition, is entirely clad in wood.
The roof tiles are made of stone, as are the outdoor walkways, carved from solid rock and painstakingly extracted from the mountain through a meticulous process of cutting and shaping. In keeping with this spirit, Chalet Borshberg reflects the visual essence of this material, enhanced with a touch of modernity and contemporary style.
