Apartment in Canton Ticino

Located on a suggestive panoramic view of Lugano, the apartment is organized entirely into a single ground floor, enabling the access to the well-kept and artfully decorated garden from each room.

The spacious and airy structure gives maximum prominence to the light, here sought in the use of wide-ranging windows and open space areas. Even the furnishing choices adopted have tried to make the most of the original map of the house, adopting highly original solutions to express the customer’s taste and enhance the potential of each environment.

Day area

Completely open toward the garden, furnished with Dedon’s Seashell seats, the living room is suitable for both comfort and recreational activities, guaranteed by a wide selection of Minotti products such as the Tang sofa and Leslie armchairs, together with the Elliot tables, Joy “Jut out” and the Dibbets Rainbow carpet. Cassina’s Infinito bookcase separates this space from a more sheltered area, dominated by a half-tailed piano and the iconic Arco lamp by Flos.

Going along the living area, there is the dining area, preceded by the Poliform Pandora sideboard and illuminated by the Glo lamps by Penta. The absolute protagonist of this space is the Saarinen marble table by Knoll, surrounded by the Caprice chairs by Cassina. The soft colors and the perfect balance of shapes give maximum elegance to this area, delimited further by Poliform’s Alea kitchen.

Night area

A different concept separates the living area from the sleeping area: if the former amazes for the shapes sobriety joined by a geometric use of spaces, the latter welcomes with softer and more enveloping structures, veined with pastel nuances and palpable fabrics softness. Articulated in the three hues of green, blue and pink, the rooms have been enriched with high quality pieces of furniture such as the 1919 armchair by Poltrona Frau and the 606 bookcase by De Padova.

There is no lack of distinctive elements such as Porada’s vanity with Maskara pouf or Cattelan Italia’s Qwerty desk, perfect for giving a final touch to the environment. The large Ego wardrobe by Poliform and the Glo Ball lamps by Flos complete this assortment of spaces, unique also thanks to the choice to turn to an artisan for the match of the beds.

More intimate, albeit equally refined in the details of the walls and finishes, is the large master bathroom, enriched with a fine selection of products by antoniolupi, among which the PantaRei models of the bathroom cabinet and the Ago tub stand out. The iconic Louis Ghost chair by Kartell gives a further note of freshness to the whole environment, accentuated already by the large wall mirror and the windows overlooking the green space outside.
